LBG Capital, a division of National Bank Financial, injects $2,1 million into Amadeus Inc.
Quebec City, November 7, 2000 - Amadeus Inc. announces a $2,1 investment in its capital by LBG Capital, a division of National Bank Financial. This investment completes a first round of financing of some 2,7 millions, including the participation of a group of employees and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
The sums invested will be used to sustain the company's rapid growth, accelerate development of specific product niches and market its existing products in Canada, Europe and the United States.
Amadeus, a young Quebec City firm with more than 40 employees, has the mission of developing and marketing corporate solutions for dynamic standards management (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, FDA, etc.). Among its prestigious customers are: L'Oréal, Prévost Car, Donohue, TotalFinaElf, Bell Canada, Hydro-Québec, Komatsu and Tembec.
