Amadeus Names New President and CEO

Quebec City, January 12, 2006 - Amadeus International inc. “Amadeus” (TSX-V: AML), a pioneer and leader of advanced compliance process control solutions, today announced the appointment of Mr. Yves Leblanc as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective today January 12, 2006. Holder of a master’s degree in business administration, Mr. Leblanc brings a wealth of experience in market development and business process management in various industrial sectors, such as financial services, process manufacturing, distribution, information technology and telecommunications.  Having worked in North America and Europe, his solid international relationship network will guide Amadeus in its mixed marketing strategy for the U.S. and European markets, especially among companies engaged in life sciences and financial services.

During his career, Yves Leblanc has held senior management and consulting positions for local and international clients.  In 1995, Mr. Leblanc merged the activities of his information technology strategic consulting firm into Andersen Business Consulting.  From 1995 to 2001, he was the Managing Partner of this division and contributed to the development of specialized practices in business strategy, business and operational process transformation and deployment of related technologies.  Under his leadership, this division of Andersen underwent highly profitable uninterrupted growth  Mr Leblanc was also the president of the Media Gateway Division of Eicon Networks in Berlin, Germany.  He had responsibility for the research and development of unified messaging technologies, for manufacturing and sales in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

M. Yves Leblanc will be a member of the Board of Directors of Amadeus, replacing M. Preston J. Maddin who has resigned from the Board. M.
