Amadeus Strenghtens Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management
Quebec City, August 13, 2001 - Amadeus Inc., the leader in the development and marketing of software solutions that help improve business performance, announces the availability of the new v5r3 version of its popular eQRP® software solution. Three modules are added to this new version: Customer Satisfaction, Monitoring and Measurement and Occupational Health and Safety. The aim of these three modules is to simplify and improve quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems integration.
Quality standards have been present on the market for many years, but environmental standards, and more recently occupational health and safety standards appeared. Based on the same continuous improvement concepts, ISO 9000 standard revision 2000, as well as environment (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001) standards are perfectly integrated in Amadeus' solutions.
The new Customer Satisfaction module is the direct answer to specifications of the ISO 9001:2000 standard revision. Businesses aiming for this certification will have to demonstrate that they measure and manage their customer's satisfaction. This new module enables you to manage customer requests, to initiate action plans for answering and following up on them.
The new Monitoring and Measurement module enables organizations who wish to reduce their impact on the environment to the minimum to do strict follow-up on their environmental performance by planning the tasks needed for tracking down decisive elements. Graphic displays of performance and alerts are among this module's many functionalities.
The new Health and Safety module helps businesses to perform hazard risk assessment, to put in place occupational health and safety management programs in order to reduce actual risks, as well as to manage all of the information pertaining to accidents and incidents in the work environment
