Amadeus Wins a Contest Organized by Oracle
Paris, March 26, 2001 - Amadeus, the leader in the development and marketing of software solutions that help improve business performance, was rewarded for its efforts by Oracle during the "Elevator Pitch" Contest organized on the occasion of the launching of the new Website dedicated to the venture capital firm Oracle Venture Network.
Amadeus distinguished itself with great panache among more than 60 companies participating in the event. The event took place in Paris during the renowned Oracle AppsWorld conference. The competition involved presenting an elevator pitch to potential investors live before a camera. Amadeus was able to prominently reveal its vision as well as the tremendous opportunity provided by the solutions it develops, such as eQRP® (electronic Quality Resource Planning®), as much for investors as for potential Customers around the globe.
Each participant was given five minutes to retain the attention and arouse the interest of consultants from the Kingstree Group, a multinational specializing in oral communication and a partner of Oracle that appraised competitors according to specific performance criteria.
